I spend a lot of time in AI roleplay chats. I got tired of fake reviews, clone apps, and rankings you can buy — so I built an independent barometer from what people actually write.
The short version
RoleplayArena is one 0–100 score per service, refreshed twice a day from a rolling 30-day window of Reddit posts and verified official app-store reviews. Every number traces back to public posts under a formula anyone can re-run. I made it because I wanted a place that answers “which chat is actually better?” without the paid placement.
How it stays independent
- The ranking is not for sale. No placement, no ads inside the ranking.
- Only verified official store apps count. Third-party clones are out, even when they outrank the real app.
- Missing data is stated, never smoothed. A service can have no score — that is a result.
- The arithmetic is public. If a recompute is overdue, every page says so.
